Can I turn an action item from a voice note into a reminder?
Yes, with two routes. When you save a note, Sentio scans the transcript for tasks and creates reminders for the ones it is reasonably confident about, linked back to the note. You can also create a reminder yourself with a title, due date, time and priority. Reminders are stored separately from the checklist text in the note, so check the reminder dates rather than assuming they match.

Route one: reminders found automatically
Saving a new note triggers a background pass over the transcript that looks for to-dos and time-based mentions. Candidates get a confidence score, and only the more confident ones are saved, which is meant to stop ordinary notes from filling your list with noise. Each saved reminder keeps a link to its source note and a short excerpt of the text it came from. This pass runs on the transcript, not on the finished action-item list, so the two can differ: a task can appear in one and not the other.
Route two: add one yourself
The reminder dialog takes a title, optional details, a due date with a time, and a priority of low, medium or high. You can open it from a note, which links the reminder to that note, or from the Reminders page, which also has a voice option: speak the reminder and the app fills in a title and a due date for you to confirm. Use this route for the action items the automatic pass skipped, or when you want a specific time.
What happens when you give no date
If the reminder text contains no date, the app fills in tomorrow morning rather than leaving the field empty. A spoken time such as "at 3 pm" or a time of day such as "evening" is respected, and "today," "tomorrow" and "next week" are resolved by the app itself. The default is a placeholder, not something you said, so look at the due date on any reminder you rely on and reschedule it if it is wrong.
Where reminders show up, and what we have not verified
The Reminders page groups items by overdue, today, upcoming, no date and completed, and opening a reminder takes you back to its note. Inside a note, reminders appear in a Reminders section. We have not verified for this page how and when a reminder alerts you, such as by push or email, so do not plan around a specific notification behavior without checking the notification settings in your account.
Common questions
Does every action item automatically become a reminder?
No. Reminders are detected separately from the action-item checklist, and only confident detections are saved. Add a reminder yourself for anything it skipped.
Can I set the reminder time myself?
Yes. The reminder dialog has a due date, a time and a priority. Reminders can also be rescheduled after they are created.
Will checking off a checklist item complete the reminder?
We have not verified that the two are linked. The checklist lives in the note text and reminders are stored as separate records, so complete the reminder in the Reminders list as well.
Can I make a reminder by speaking it directly?
Yes. The Reminders page offers voice capture: you speak, and a title and due date are suggested for you to confirm.
