Is a voice notes app meant for one person or a team?
Sentio is built for one person today: your notes, transcripts, action items and reminders live in your own account. Team workspaces are described on the site as early access, and comments and action assignment are not available in the released experience. If everyone on a team needs one shared transcript of every call, look at a different kind of tool; if you need to capture your own thinking and pass pieces along, Sentio fits.

What personal means in Sentio
When you record a note, the transcript, summary, action items and any reminders belong to your account and are not visible to anyone else. Passing something on is a deliberate step: you edit the summary and copy it to the people who need it, or you set up a webhook or the Obsidian plugin to send your own notes to a place you control. Nothing is shared by default, which is the right default for a thinking tool and the wrong one for a team inbox.
What early access for teams actually means
The teams page on this site says shared workspaces are in early access and that teams will be invited as the workspace migration and collaboration checks finish. It lists owner, admin, editor and viewer roles as part of the planned experience and says transcript comments and action assignment are not yet available. The app already contains a Workspace settings area with members and invites for admins, but the site frames that as foundations being prepared, not a finished team product. Do not buy on the assumption that a shared workflow works today, and no team pricing is published on the pricing page.
How a team can still use personal notes
Plenty of teams run on individual capture. Each person records a short debrief after a call, edits the summary and posts it where the team already works. A webhook can automate the posting: Sentio sends a signed request to an address you control when a note is created, and your own script or automation decides where it goes. That is a do-it-yourself pipeline with no shared permissions, comments or ownership inside Sentio, so it suits a small group that is comfortable stitching tools together.
When to pick something else
If the requirement is that every participant on every call gets the same transcript with each speaker labeled, comments on lines and tasks assigned inside the tool, that is the meeting-assistant category and Sentio does not cover it yet. The answer on the best voice notes app that extracts action items looks at that split between solo notes and team calls. Sentio is the better fit when the unit of work is one person talking through their own day, decisions or follow-ups.
Common questions
Can I invite teammates to see my notes?
Not as a supported team feature today. Team workspaces are in early access, so contact us before planning around shared access.
Can teammates comment on a transcript or assign me a task?
No. Comments and action assignment are described as not yet available in the released team experience.
Is there a team price?
The pricing page lists individual plans only: yearly, lifetime and a limited founder beta. No team pricing is published.
Can one person on a team use Sentio on their own?
Yes. That is what it is built for, and you can share your edited summaries by hand or through a webhook you set up.
